TRAINING DESCRIPTION:
Value Stream Mapping (VSM) is a tool that enables, using a standardized language, the full viewing and understanding of material and information flows throughout the value stream. Based on this big picture of the production chain, not only individual tasks, it is possible to identify waste sources and establish improvements to transform the current flow into a lean flow.
OBJECTIVES:
- Understand the standardized method and symbology of VSM to prepare current flow status maps;
- Understand what is a lean flow and its rules, learning to identify the sources of waste;
- Get to know the key issues to establish the implementation plan that transforms the current flow into a lean flow.
